“UNDERESTIMATED is exactly what we all need right now, for our families and for our future voices in the world.
I’ve personally witnessed how Chelsey changes the lives of teenage girls for the better by deepening connections and helping everyone feel more heard and understood. With passion and enthusiasm, Chelsey empowers girls to discover their voices in both the most practical and deepest of ways."
Meet Chelsey
I’ve spent 18 years listening to what teenage girls actually think and feel
— serving as their microphone and translator to the adults in their lives.
I know, without a doubt, that we are underestimating them.
They have real insight and solutions to problems, but they're silenced, misunderstood, and dismissed.
They’re navigating a system that has long shaped women around fear. Fear of being unlikable, too much, not enough, judged — honestly, the list is endless.
And I see every day how that fear seeps into a girl’s bloodstream early, holding her back before she’s even had the chance to explore who she is.
My work interrupts that pattern before self-doubt calcifies into identity.
I make sure girls don’t grow into women who second-guess, people-please, shrink, or say “sorry” for every little thing.
Instead, they learn to trust themselves.
To speak up.
To pursue bold goals — and like themselves while doing it.
And in doing so, they become the kind of leaders our future depends on. Leaders with emotional intelligence, who tell the truth and create from care, not fear.
This leadership is how we create a more compassionate and hopeful world.

UNDERESTIMATED is an inside-look into the lessons that Chelsey learned from mentoring teenage girls for nearly two decades. The book not only offers practical tools to help parents better understand and connect with their daughter, but it also helps women heal their own inner teenage girl.

Keynote Speaker
Chelsey has a rare ability to get teenage girls to open up and say what most adults never hear (but need to hear). She shines a light on women’s systemic patterns of self-doubt and interrupts them in real time.
In her workshops, Chelsey creates psychological safety through curiosity, not judgment, making it possible for girls and women to say what they’ve never said out loud.
The result:
Audiences leave with practical tools to build self-trust, speak authentically, and lead from a place of truth—not fear.
On Richard Branson's Necker Island, at ONEFUTURE, a summit attended by thought leaders around the world, the event host described Chelsey's keynote:
“Our group was completely transformed.
Business summits often focus too much on the external, while Chelsey's insight gave us a look at ourselves internally. Both men and women began opening up, connecting, and reigniting passions in such inspiring ways. Chelsey’s powerful energy and enthusiasm delivered an experience our group will never forget.”
